Frequently Asked Questions

No. This program is intended to complement traditional approaches to ADHD care, not replace them. While some families may be looking for non-medication alternatives, we strongly encourage collaboration with your physician or psychiatrist when making treatment decisions. Our program is an adjunctive support that blends behavioral therapy, cognitive training via VR, and parent coaching—all of which are well-supported by evidence and can enhance medication outcomes or serve as an alternative in certain cases, depending on the severity of symptoms and family goals.
  • A Meta Quest 2 or newer VR headset (no PC required)

  • A reliable internet connection for video sessions and app syncing

  • A quiet, private space for your child’s weekly therapy session. We'll walk you through all tech setup in the intake session. If you’re unsure whether your system is compatible, we can provide a pre-check consultation to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Progress is measured in three ways: (1) VR performance data, which helps assess cognitive engagement and trends in attention/executive functioning over time; (2) behavioral and emotional assessments completed by parents, teachers, and clients during intake, mid-point, and discharge; and (3) weekly therapist observations and behavior tracking. We use standardized tools like the Conners-3, SNAP-IV, and goal-tracking systems aligned with your child's daily experiences. Progress reports are provided throughout the program and at the end to support follow-up care or school accommodations.

Absolutely. We offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can meet the therapist, ask questions, and explore if this program is a fit for your child. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about how VR therapy works, how we involve parents, and what you can expect each week. We want you to feel fully informed and supported before making any commitment.
